ABSTRKTION is a digital consultancy in Johannesburg. Our home ground is owner run and mid sized South African businesses: transport and plant hire, engineering and manufacturing, trades and specialist services. We also work with large enterprises, on ERP and CRM rollouts, automation that crosses departments, and getting people to actually use what was installed. We find where a business is quietly losing customers, we prove it with something you can check yourself, and we fix it.
The work we actually do
We put in ERP and CRM systems, and we build the small automation that gives a person back two hours a day. The size of the job changes almost nothing about the method: we scope it, we price it before you commit, and you own it at the end. What we will not do is sell you a bigger system than the problem needs.
What the name means
ABSTRKTION reads as abstraction. An abstraction is what you get when you take something complicated and keep only the part that matters. That is the whole job. It is also our answer to something we kept seeing: IT providers talking in systems and licences, business owners talking in customers and cashflow, and nobody in the middle translating. Our mark is six interlocking strands resolving into one ordered shape, which is the same idea drawn.

I do the work. When you phone, you get me, and when the work happens, I am the one doing it. That is a limit as much as a promise: there is a point at which we are full, and when we get there I will tell you that instead of taking your deposit.
What we will not do
We will not promise you a position on Google. Nobody controls that.
We will not write reviews or anything that pretends to be a customer.
We will not take work we do not think is worth what it costs you.
We will not take on two businesses chasing the same customers in the same area while either of them is with us monthly.
